The exhilarating experience during the Catamaran transfer from Agatti to Kadmat Island (Distance 65 km)
A cruise from Agatti to Kadmat onboard the HSC [High Speed Catamaran] will take around 2.30 hours. The blue sea around you is a beauteous vision. The cool ocean breeze and seagulls will give an absolutely unforgettable journey. You will encounter sandbanks, sparkling coral reef, large school of fish and other marine animals.
Thus, before you arrive the Kadmat Island – a beautiful place blessed with unique natural beauty - the inner island transfer will nourish your mind with a thrilling experience!
During the travel you could catch a glimpse of many different islands, mostly uninhabited. Bangaram island [9km] is situated just opposite side of Thinnakara island [11km] and share the vast lagoon and coralline banks with Agatti. On the north-south edge of the lagoon Parali (i); Parali (ii), Parali (iii) and Kalpitty isle are situated.
Pitti Bank is situated around 20 km ahead from Agatti Island. Pitti island, also called PakshiPitti (Island of birds) and hence there are many birds over here, particularly the Seagulls. The host of the seagulls and other birds, and their group activities will delight every one - rather it is an extra bonus to the tourists.
When the Catamaran passes close to these islands, you get yet another unique experience. A momentary, brief passing look of the local fishermen engaged in fishing operations with Pole and line vessels, a traditional method of “Tuna Pole and Line Fishing”.
A pole and line consists of a hooked line attached to a pole. The vessels carry live bait to entice the fish to aggregate around the boat by using bait and water spraying. The Lakshadweep Sea is abounding with Tuna, Kingfish, Barracuda, Shark, Snappers, Bonefish, Stonefish, wahoo to name a few.
Pitti Bank is a largely submerged sunken atoll with a very large lagoon area. There are just two islands Pitti and Amini share the lagoon and remain at its opposite ends. Amini Island lies at the northeastern extremity of Pitti Bank, 42 km from the uninhabited Pitti Island.
Kadmat island, although just 5 km northeast of Amini Island, is separated from it by a deep channel and thus forms a separate geographical unit. Along with the cool breeze of the sea, the scenic beauties and visions, you are slowly getting closer to the exotic Kadmat Island.
On arrival at the Reception, you are greeted with a welcome drink, followed by the check-in formalities. Snack at Restaurant – evening kayaking/boating. Dinner & overnight stay at the Resort.

Day -1 : 11.40 a.m (approx.) arrival at Agatti Airport. Guests will be taken care by our representative from there onwards. Lunch at Dak Bungalow, Agatti Island. Transfer (5.5 km) to Agatti Boat Jetty at 2 O’clock. Your adventure begins with a journey of (Distance 65 km) two and half hours in a High Speed Catamaran (HSC) that reaches at Kadmat around 5 O’clock. Transfer (5 km) to the Kadmat Beach Resort. Reception / welcome drink on arrival at Resort & check-in at Resort.

Kadmat is one of the most beautiful diving locations in India. The crystal clear water and the abundant marine life enhance the beauty of Kadmat. Against the vast expanse of the blue sea, the island looks like emerald. The huge shallow calm lagoon on one side with wall like reef made of marine live coral boulders block the incoming swells of the outer sea. Clear water with 20-50 meter visibility and a variety of fishes like Lion fish, Lobsters, Tuna, rays, sharks, shoaling jacks, fusiliers, sweet lips, groupers, rays, eels, turtles makes it a memorable destination for scuba divers.

Day -2 : Bed tea- Breakfast at Resort - 7.30 a.m. – Full day SCUBA Diving /Snorkeling. One can explore local dive sites like Jack Point, Shark Alley, The Cave (8-20 meters) and Turtle City, where the names say it all. Also there are opportunities to explore the reefs off Amini, Bitra, Suheli and Pitti. Days of diving at Kadmat end with evenings spent watching the sunset and waiting for the night sky.
Day -3: Bed tea- Breakfast at Resort - 7.30 a.m. - Morning starts with Sight Seeing/Guided Tour (Free - included in the package) or (optional) snorkeling/boating/scuba diving/deep sea fishing etc. 1.p.m Lunch at Resort - 4.30 onwards swimming /fishing/kayaking/at beach - Evening tea and snack at Restaurant - Dinner & overnight stay at Resort. We can arrange (optional; excluded in package) turtles watch/moonlit excursions to the lagoon or night stay at floating boats at your choice)
Day -4 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Resort - 8.30 a.m Enjoy the nature or swim/kayak at the beach. 1. p.m Lunch at Resort - Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. For those seeking for a Lagoon Fishing, we invites you to 'catch it and cook it' holiday experience or choose for Game Fishing adventures instead. Or you may continue water sports such as snorkeling /speed boat ride/fishing/sailboat/water skiing/scuba diving (optional). Evening tea and snack at Restaurant - Dinner & Overnight stay at Resort.
Day -5 : Bed tea- Breakfast at Resort - 7.30 a.m. - Morning starts with snorkeling/scuba diving/deep sea fishing etc. 1.p.m Lunch at Resort - Continue with diving/water sports - Evening tea and snack at Restaurant - Dinner & overnight stay at Resort. At night (optional) moonlit excursions to the lagoon or night stay at floating boats at your choice.
Day -6 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Resort - 7.30 a.m. Transfer by HSC Catamaran to Bangaram Island. After 2 hours of cruise, you will be guided to the reception of the Bangaram Island Tent-house accommodation reserved for you.

Day -6 (Continues): @ Bangaram: Bangaram is everything you imagine a tropical island to be and from the moment you set foot on the blinding, soft, white sand you'll be totally enraptured by the exotic natural beauty of what can only be described as one of the most exclusive tropical islands in the world. Lunch at Tent-house.
Surrounded sixty Square Kilometers of pristine lagoon, two uninhabited islands five minutes away and a shipwreck just outside the reef where you can see the most colorful fish, make the resort an exclusive place to be. In the evening there’s a choice of ‘Hopping Excursions to different islands’ or ‘Scuba Diving’.
Lagoon Fishing: Prepare for a romantic escapade to a truly blue lagoon or get a first ever experience of Lakshadweep lagoon fishing! All you can do is catch a fish and the chefs onboard will be more than happy to cook it for you or take your catch on the BBQ at the island.
Evening tea and snack at Tent-house - Dinner and overnight stay at the Tent-house.

Day -7: @ Bangaram: Morning starts with Diving excursion to Dolphin Point/Manta Point/Virgin Reef. 1.p.m Lunch at the island Bangaram - Continue with diving/water sports - Evening tea and snack at the island - Dinner & overnight stay at the island. At night (optional) moonlit excursions to the lagoon.
Day -8: @ Bangaram: Morning starts with hopping excursions to nearby islands or ‘Snorkeling with Turtles’. 1.p.m Lunch at the island Thinnakara or Bangaram - Continue with diving/water sports - Evening tea and snack at the island - Dinner & overnight stay at the island. At night (optional) moonlit excursions to the lagoon.
Day -9 : Bed Tea - Breakfast at Resort - 9.30 a.m. Transfer by FERRY/HSC to Tinnakkara Island. After half an hour cruise, you will be guided to the reception of the Tinnakkara Tent-house accommodation reserved for you.
On arrival at the Reception, you are greeted with a welcome drink and snacks, followed by the check-in formalities.

Day -9 : (Continues): @ Thinnakara: Surrounded by superb, soft, silvery sands with an interior of lush green coconut groves, it portrays an image of pure ecstasy. Surrounding the island is a coral reef, which forms a large sheltered lagoon, the most incredible shade of luminous turquoise, which also encloses three small uninhabited islands.
Morning ‘Snorkeling with Turtles’. In this area turtles are common, thousands of them "live" in the vast lagoon between Thinnakara and Bangaram. It is an incredible experience to snorkel with them! Lunch at Tent-house.
Tinnakkara Island is different with optional facilities such as hopping excursions (day & night) to other nearby islands.
There are quite a few uninhabited islands in the same Atoll, Bangaram, Parali (i); Parali (ii), Kalpitty etc. In the evening there’s a choice of ‘Hopping Excursions to different islands’ or ‘Scuba Diving’. Dinner & overnight stay at the island. At night (optional) moonlit excursions to the lagoon.
Scuba Diving: Most of the best diving spots are no more than an hour away. Popular dive spots include Manta Point and the wreck of the Princess Royal sunk 200 years ago. Some other dive spots are Lost Paradise, Alice in Wonderland, Coral Fantasies, Mauritius Point, Dolphin Point, Discover point, Japanese Garden and Virgin Reef. The Virgin Reef has been ranked by many of the world's experienced divers as being among the best anywhere.

Optional facilities for turtles watch/moonlit excursions to lagoons etc., also can be arranged.
At 1.00 p.m Lunch - Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. For those seeking for a Lagoon Fishing, we invites you to 'catch it and cook it' holiday experience or choose for Game Fishing adventures instead. Or you may continue water sports such as snorkeling /speed boat ride/fishing/sailboat/water skiing/scuba diving (optional). Evening tea and snack - Dinner & Overnight stay at Thinnakara.
Day -11 : Bed tea- Breakfast at Resort - 7.30 a.m. - Morning starts with snorkeling/scuba diving/deep sea fishing etc. 1.p.m Lunch - Continue with diving/water sports - Evening tea and snack at the island - Dinner & overnight stay at Resort. At night experience the Bioluminescence on the shore - Enjoy the Beauty of Nature or (optional) moon-lit excursions to the lagoon or night stay at floating boats at your choice.
Day -12 : On the last day of the package after Bed Tea - Breakfast at Resort, the Ferry Transfer to Agatti airport is arranged at 9.30 a.m; Reach Agatti at 10.30 a.m. Departure Agatti Island (AGX) 12:00 Arrival according to schedule at Nedumbassery Int'l Air Port (COK) @ 01:20 p.m. by Air India to Cochin.
[Please do not consider the above itinerary as final as normally the same has been fixed at the island. The itinerary may be changed due to the HSC availability at Agatti. The sightseeing and other activities at the islands including watersports, the timing will be flexible and according to the availability of guides/instructors/vessels/weather conditions.
